Camden Man, 22, Killed In Atlantic City Expressway Crash After Striking Multiple Trees
A 22-year-old man from Camden was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway, authorities said. Hamza Muhammad lost control of his Dodge SUV, ran off the roadway left, struck the guardrail, continued down an embankment, and overturned before colliding with multiple trees at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The crash occurred westbound near milepost 20.5 in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County. The crash remains under investigation and there was no additional information available. A drug kingpin who headed a network that slung fentanyl and meth in South Jersey and the suburbs of Philadelphia while he hid from his pursuers was sentenced Thursday to a plea-bargained 18 years in federal prison. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Bike Lane In Gloucester County
A 31-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking in a bike lane in Gloucester County, authorities said. Quinel D. Harris, of Glassboro, was walking northbound on Greentree Road near Chapel Heights Road in Washington Township around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Silverado pickup as the vehicle was changing lanes, according to township police. Man, 38, Dies Of Injuries From Camden Shooting: Prosecutor
A 38-year-old Camden man died Friday Dec. 15 from injuries sustained in a shooting three weeks earlier, authorities said. On Nov. 20, at 9:08 p.m., Camden County Police responded to Hunter Drive after receiving a 911 call for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man, who was later identified as Anthony Young, 38, was transported to Cooper University Hospital. Pair Shot At Apartment Complex In South Jersey: Police
Two people were shot at an apartment complex in South Jersey, authorities said On Thursday, Dec. 14 at about 8:20 p.m., Bridgeton police responded to Burlington Manor for shots fired. Police found two gunshot victims, a 17-year-old female and a 41-year-old male, both of Bridgeton. Both victims were airlifted to Cooper Medical Center in Camden for further treatment and were listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

South Jersey Man Arrested In Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor
A 42-year-old man from Camden has been arrested for the fatal shooting of another man in September, authorities said. Jaffar Muhammad was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the fatal shooting of Alberto DeJesus, 31, of Camden, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C.
