Winners! A pair of Mega Millions lottery tickets each worth $10,000 were sold in Burlington and Union counties. Tornado Watch Issued Across 16 New Jersey Counties
The National Weather Service on Thursday afternoon issued a tornado watch across 16 New Jersey counties. The watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties. The watch -- less severe than a warning -- was also issued for most of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Storms were expected to arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and end between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Straight-line winds, large hail, lightning and flash flooding are also possible.

Whiting Man, 27, Indicted On Weapons Charges After Drive-By Shooting, Prosecutor Says
A 27-year-old man from Monmouth County has been indicted in connection with a drive-by shooting, authorities said. Joseph M. Galli of Whiting was indicted Thursday by a county grand jury on several charges of unlawfully possessing a firearm, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. Galli allegedly used the illegally-owned firearm last year to shoot at a house and vehicle in Marlboro, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. A 46-year-old woman from Burlington was killed early Saturday when she was struck by a driver who fled the scene, authorities said. At 2:13 a.m., Burlington Township police responded to Campus Drive between Sunset Road and Autumn Lane on a report of a pedestrian lying in the road. A 23-year-old man was charged with luring, sexual assault, child endangerment and several other offenses stemming from an incident at a Morris County park.
