A 28-year-old mother who rescued her two young children from drowning has recovered from critical injuries, authorities said. The woman, identified only as Kassandra on Facebook, ran into the water but was overcome by strong currents, Brigantine police said. First responders including the Brigantine Beacn Patrol rescued the unidentified children. A 28-year-old mother is in critical condition after trying to save her children in the ocean in South Jersey, authorities said. Brigantine police and firefighters responded to a 9-1-1 call at 9:28 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13 for a swimmer in distress.
