A 27-year-old Egg Harbor Township man was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Monday, March 10 after previously pleading guilty to providing fentanyl that resulted in the deaths of two teenagers in 2022, authorities said. Elias Santiago pleaded guilty in December to two counts of strict liability drug-inducted death, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. A 39-year-old Ocean County man was arrested and charged on Friday, Feb. 28 with trying to lure young children for sexual activity, authorities said. A restaurant in Asbury Park was fined after it was accused of having a dress code that discriminated against a nonbinary person, officials said. Brando’s Citi Cucina agreed to several punishments, including a $5,000 payment to the customer, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said in a news release on Friday, June 28.
