Flipped Truck Closes I-295 Ramp In South Jersey
An overturned truck closed a ramp on Interstate 295, authorities said. The truck crashed at about 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24 northbound on the Exit 43 off-ramp in Mount Laurel Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation website. The exit ramp and right shoulder were closed, 511nj.org said.

Dirt Bike Rider Killed In Jersey Shore Crash With Jeep
Authorities are seeking witnesses of a collision that killed a 40-year-old dirt bike rider in Monmouth County Friday, Oct. 14. Clifford Walton was operating the Kawasaki dirt bike that collided with a Jeep Cherokee on Arlington Avenue and Gordon Street in Aberdeen around 6 p.m., Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said. Walton was rushed to Bayshore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6:45 p.m. The driver of the SUV, 34, remained on the scene and was not seriously injured. A child was seriously hurt in a Central Jersey sledding accident, according to developing reports. The mishap occurred about 2:30 p.m. Friday near Grand Teton Avenue and Newtons Corner Road in Howell Township, initial reports said.
