Pedestrian Struck At Central Jersey Shop Rite: Developing A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a Central Jersey Shop Rite parking lot, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. The crash occurred before 7 p.m. at 3600 Park Ave. in South Plainfield, initial reports said. Police had requested a medical helicopter for an airlift to an area hospital.
