An active homicide investigation began about 1 p.m. after the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit responded to 2009 Blaine Ave., Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said in a statement.
This is a cooperative investigation by the prosecutor’s office and Atlantic City Police Department.
Witnesses told police the victim was on a second-floor porch when he was struck by gunfire.
No further information will be released at this time, Tyner said.
