Firefighters were battling a major house fire in South Jersey, according to developing reports.

The two-alarm blaze broke out before 4 p.m. at 2607 Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township, initial reports said.

There was a request for additional help from Pleasantville, and a request to police to shut down Fire Road, according to an unconfirmed report.
