Altarik Hopkins was additionally sentenced on Monday, Dec. 4 for resisting arrest by flight and obstructing the administration of law, according to the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office.
He must serve 42 months of the sentence before he is eligible for parole, the prosecutor said.
On May 5, 2021, Atlantic City police tried to stop a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Vineland. Hopkins and his juvenile co-defendants fled the stolen vehicle on foot.
