Victim ID'd In Fatal Neptune City Stabbing: Authorities

A 24-year-old Neptune Township man died on Wednesday, March 5 after being stabbed on Tuesday, March 4 in Neptune City, authorities said.

At 11:31 p.m., Neptune City police responded to a stabbing on the 200 block of West Sylvania Avenue and found Kaylib Paul with stab wounds, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago and Neptune City Police Department Chief Matthew Quagliato said.

Paul was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, authorities said.

A balloon release will be held for Paul on Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Long Branch Field.
