FAA Bans Drones From Flying Over Parts Of New Jersey: See The List New Jersey’s skies are getting a no-drone zone makeover.  In response to a string of drone sightings that have raised eyebrows and security concerns across the state, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued 22 Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) banning drones from buzzing around "critical New Jersey infrastructure." Prompted by a request from federal security partners, the restrictions are set to take effect Wednesday, Dec. 17, and will run through Friday, Jan. 17. Woman, 74, Killed In South Jersey House Fire A 74-year-old woman was killed in a house fire early Wednesday, March 8 in Burlington County, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 5:54 a.m. on the second floor of a home at 2 Whitlow Drive, Westampton Police Chief Stephen Ent said.  Maria Green died in the fire, the chief said. The incident is being investigated by the Westampton Twp. Fire Marshal's Office, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Westampton Twp. Two Dead In Christmas Crash On NJ Turnpike A pair of young men were killed in a crash on the NJ Turnpike early Christmas morning, authorities said. Pedro Morales Roias, 28, and Rolando Perez Aragon, 21, both of Bridgeton, were killed when the car they were passengers in tried changing into the lane of a tractor trailer that was trying to pass them on the northbound side in Westampton around 5:15 a.m., New Jersey State Police said.  The car's driver, a 30-year-old Bridgeton man, was seriously injured while the truck driver, a 34-year-old Florida man, had minor injuries, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

A grand jury returned two separate indictments against Shawn Midgette, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina. Both indictments charge him with aggravated sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and several other assault and weapons charges, the prosecutor said.
