Two people were arrested on drugs and weapons charges following a month-long investigation in Lakewood, authorities announced Thursday, Feb. 19.
A search warrant was executed at the residence of Kharii Pringle, a 42-year-old Lakewood resident, Lakewood police said. During the search, Jeffrey Keys, a 41-year-old Toms River resident was taken into custody on outstanding warrants, police said.

Seven people were recently arrested and charged with running a heroin mill in Burlington County, authorities said.
Authorities investigated a large scale narcotics operation in Pemberton late last year, finding that William Anderson, a 60-year-old Brown Mills man, was trafficking substantial quantities of heroin, methamphetamine, and cocaine, with David Furter, a 61-year-old Palmyra resident serving as a key supplier of bulk methamphetamine, New York State Police said.

A Mantaloking officer responded to the single-vehicle crash near the 1200 block where he found Jeremy W. Barringer, 46, of Toms River around 3 a.m., local police said.
