Rescue Crews Called To Help 2 Stranded Kayakers In Ocean County Rescue crews were called to aid a pair of stranded kayakers in Ocean County Wednesday. Water emergency units were called to 427 E. Bay Ave. in Barnegat Township around 3 p.m. on reports of an overturned kayaker, unconfirmed reports say. A second kayaker was taking on water, and emergency crews were attempting to make access for a rescue, the reports say. This is a developing story. Check back for details.
