Newest Tesla Dealership Destination: Jersey Shore
A new Tesla dealership is coming soon to a Jersey Shore town, reports say. The electric car manufacturer plans to open its first store in Monmouth County, according to the Asbury Park Press. The newest Tesla dealer will replace the vacated Funtime America on Route 35 in Eatontown. An opening date has not been announced. The project was approved by the Eatontown Zoning Board of Adjustment several months ago, according to news reports. A Union County motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a tractor-trailer and ejected on Route 287 in Edison Monday morning, state police confirmed. Terrance R. Erwin, 61, was riding a Honda motorcycle southbound toward Route 440 north when she collided with a tractor-trailer near milepost .01 in Edison just before 5:30 a.m., NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan told Daily Voice. Erwin, of Plainfield, was thrown from the bike and suffered fatal injuries, Marchan said. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Dennis R. A disgraced former dentist who already had a criminal history involving crystal meth admitted having the drug when the DEA raided his Morris County home last year. A retired Union County middle school teacher and theater director was charged with sexually assaulting a student while on school grounds several years ago.
