Man, 35, Found Lying On Route 202 After Crashing Mercedes Benz Dies: Police
A 35-year-old Whippany man was killed in a car crash on Route 202 in Branchburg on Tuesday, Feb. 18, authorities said. At 10:08 p.m., officers responded to a single-car collision at Route 202 and Whiton Road and found a 2024 blue Mercedes Coupe overturned, Branchburg police said. The driver was located lying on the ground next to the vehicle, police said. A Kendall Park woman was killed when she was in a car that was hit by an SUV that ran a traffic light in South Brunswick, authorities said. Ranjinidevi Ramakrishnan, 43, died in the crash, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 10. Camden Man Sentenced In Fatal-Hit Run Crash In Central Jersey: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old man from Camden has been sentenced to 11 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal hit-and-run crash in Middlesex County. Giovanni Gaines-Little was sentenced on Monday, July 29 in connection with a crash that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023, in South Brunswick, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Motorcyclist, 45, Killed In Route 1 Crash: Police
A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Essex County was killed in a crash on Route 1 in Edison, authorities said. Alexander Chong of Belleville was killed when he struck the rear of a vehicle stopped at a red light, Edison police said. He ended up under the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 northbound near Old Post Road North. A motor vehicle crash in Bridgewater on Thursday, May 30, caused a downed traffic light, authorities said. The crash occurred at Country Club Road and Route 28, Bridgewater police said in alert. No injuries were reported after two Paterson police units collided, taking out a traffic light. The SUVs appeared to be headed to a call when they collided at the corner of Straight and Van Houten Street/College Boulevard early Friday evening, June 17.
