Newly released dashcam footage shows the moment a tractor-trailer crashed and overturned into oncoming traffic on the NJ Turnpike in Woodbridge Tuesday, March 10. View this post on Instagram The truck overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike inner roadway southbound entrance ramp near Interchange 11 by the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge at approximately 2 p.m., the New Jersey DOT site said. Kemit Cotto, a veteran Emergency Medical Technician from New Jersey, is fighting through a long recovery after being severely injured in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 287, friends said. The crash happened on Monday, Sept. 8, when a car stopped short in front of Cotto on I-287, according to a GoFundMe launched by Robert Cintron. A 44-year-old Bayville man was fatally struck by a tractor trailer on Route 195 west in Hamilton Township on Wednesday morning, July 30, authorities said. At 6:10 a.m., the man was standing outside of a Dodge pickup truck on the right shoulder when he entered the right lane of travel directly into the path of a Volvo tractor trailer and was struck, Charles Marchan, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
