First Responders Lift Car Off Woman's Foot In Lakewood: Police
A car rolled onto a woman's foot, pinning her in Lakewood. At approximately 9:45 p.m. Sunday July 9, a 62-year-old woman exited her vehicle after pulling into the driveway of her Chateau Drive home, Lakewood police said. Upon exiting the 2015 Toyota Sienna she began unloading packages from the rear passenger compartment. She then went over to the front passenger door to remove the key from the ignition. Girl Ejected From Minivan On Garden State Parkway, Driver ID'd
A 14-year-old girl was ejected from a minivan on the Garden State Parkway this weekend, authorities said. Melande Alexis-Joseph, 51, of Maplewood was heading south in a Toyota Sienna when the van struck a guardrail on the right, ejecting the girl around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 in Kenilworth, New Jersey Sate Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Alexis-Joseph struck a concrete overpass and a nearby guardrail, then crossed the highway to the left and hit a median barrier, police said. The girl was seriously injured. Two children from London, England, were ejected from their car in a crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at 2:40 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the parkway at milepost 97.3 in Wall Township, State Police said. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Toyota Sienna and a Honda Accord were traveling southbound when the two vehicles were involved in a sideswipe collision. Police: Fatal Crash In North Arlington Might Have Involved Medical Episode
A 63-year-old driver who died following a crash in North Arlington may have suffered a medical episode beforehand, authorities said. Three vehicles were involved in the 7:18 a.m. collision outside the Riverside Laundromat on a busy stretch of River Road near the Belleville Turnpike on Monday, March 7 -- a Ford Mustang, a Toyota Sienna and a Nissan, Capt. Two children have died following a rollover crash earlier this month in South Jersey. Camden's Jesus Diaz, 5, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Route 55 incident in Vineland on July 7, around 11:30 p.m., authorities said. Then, on July 11, Carlos Diaz, 6, of Camden, passed away, police said. Child Killed, 6 Injured In Route 55 Vineland Crash
A young boy was killed and six others from South Jersey were hurt in a rollover crash late Wednesday, authorities said. A Toyota Sienna went off of Route 55 in Vineland, then overturned into the lanes of travel, according to State Police. The Toyota minivan was then struck by a Chevrolet Cruze, according to Sgt.
