Jackson Twp Man Admits To Breaking Into Estranged Wife’s House: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old Jackson Township man pleaded guilty on Wednesday, June 18, to breaking into his wife’s home and kicking down a bedroom door, authorities said. Manuel Fernandez pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and violating a protective order, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. Per the terms of a plea agreement, he faces five years in prison, Billhimer said. A detective from the Jersey Shore was found to have violated a court order by not surrendering personal guns, authorities said. A repeat offender from Teaneck spit a mouthful of water on two Englewood police officers, coughed at them and claimed she has the coronavirus after they arrested her for violating a temporary restraining order, authorities said. Sughuy Cepeda, 43, was taken to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus after she “spit and coughed at officers who took her into custody on several occasions and stated she was COVID positive,” state Attorney General Gurbir S.
