South Jersey Driver Charged In Deadly Hit-Run Pedestrian Crash: Prosecutor A South Jersey man has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash, authorities said. Matthew Cademartori, 25, of Northfield, was traveling eastbound on the White Horse Pike when he allegedly struck Talmadge Franklin, 67, of Absecon who was walking eastbound, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. After striking Franklin, Cademartori allegedly left the scene of Saturday morning's crash, Shill said.
