'Dangerous' Thieves Steal Porsche, Gun In Jersey Shore Home Break-In: Police
Three masked suspects forced their way into a Wall Township home, stealing a Porsche, a gun, and keys, authorities said. The burglary happened on River Road at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release. Authorities have identified the bicyclist who died when an SUV struck him in West Long Branch. John Martin of Long Branch was killed in the crash, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said on Tuesday, Dec. 3. He was 55 years old. A woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash in Lakewood, authorities said. The 35-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 6. A Monroe Township woman was killed when her motorcycle crashed into an SUV in Monmouth County, authorities said. Laura Wildner, 23, died in the crash on Friday, Sept. 13, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck on County Route 1 in Millstone Township at around 4:27 p.m. Investigators said Wildner was riding east on a Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Edge was heading east.
