Raritan Man Arrested In Stabbing: Prosecutor
A 31-year-old Raritan man was arrested and charged with a stabbing that occurred in the early morning of Monday, April 1, authorities said. Jose Cruz-Guzman stabbed another man in the hand during an argument just before 4 a.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. Following an investigation, Cruz-Guzman was arrested in Raritan Borough later that day and charged with aggravated assault and multiple weapons offenses, McDonald said. Funeral services have been set for 27-year-old Maryrose Fealey, who was fatally stabbed in Somerville on Tuesday, Jan. 30. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Somerville, according to her obituary on the Bridgewater Funeral Home website. A 40-year-old arsonist was found unconscious after setting a fire that ignited a Somerset County apartment, authorities said. Dashawn Holmes, a tenant in an East Main Street building in Somerville, was found unconscious by firefighters responding to the alarm set off just before midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 25, Somerset County Prosecutor John P.
