Woman Killed, Three Injured When SUV Runs Red Light In South Brunswick: Prosecutors
A Kendall Park woman was killed when she was in a car that was hit by an SUV that ran a traffic light in South Brunswick, authorities said. Ranjinidevi Ramakrishnan, 43, died in the crash, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 10. Police responded to the crash in the area of Route 522 and Georges Road at around 7:13 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3. Serious Crash Reported On Garden State Parkway: State Police
There was a serious crash involving an overturned car on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The one-car crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 local lanes northbound north of Exit 109 — Route 520 in Middletown, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation. New Jersey State Police confirmed that they were investigating a crash with serious injuries. An unconfirmed report said that a motorist was ejected and a medical helicopter was requested. UPDATE: New Jersey State Police identified a man who was seriously injured when he bailed from a moving vehicle on busy Route 287. Passenger David Chavez, 27, of Livingston "exited" a Kenworth tractor pulling a flatbed trailer as it headed south on the highway in Riverdale shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Serious Tractor-Trailer Crash Reported On NJ Turnpike: State Police
New Jersey State Police are investigating a tractor-trailer crash with serious injuries, authorities said. The crash occurred at about noon on Wednesday, Jan. 16 near interchange 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike in South Brunswick Township. Preliminary investigation reveals that a tractor-trailer was traveling on the turnpike when it struck a pole, said Trooper Brandi Slota. This investigation is ongoing.
