Route 1 Fatal South Brunswick Route 535 A pair of fatal serious crashes disrupted traffic in South Brunswick on Tuesday morning, April 23, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. There was a fatal crash investigation on Route 1 northbound north of New Road, closing two of three lanes, at about 7:50 a.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
