Three firefighters were injured while on the scene of a house fire in Monmouth County, officials said. Firefighters responded to the home on 11th Avenue in Neptune on Tuesday, Feb. 6, according to the Neptune Township Office of Emergency Management. Authorities have identified the driver killed in a seven-vehicle crash on Route 9 in Freehold Township. Daniel Kaplan, 78, of Freehold Township, died in the crash, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
