Queens Man Dead, 13 Injured In I-295 Crash
A Queens, NY man died and 13 other people were injured in a crash involving a passenger van on Interstate 295 in Mercer County Wednesday, New Jersey State Police said.
A Ford Econoline van was traveling north in near mile post 59 in Hamilton Township, when it went off the road to the right, struck the guardrail, reentered the roadway and overturned around 3:30 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez said.
Four of the 14 occupants were ejected, including 55-year-old Daniel Del Carmen Marmol Batista, of Ridgewood, NY, who died.

That's the message Lakewood's Aleks Vlasyuk is sharing with the world, three days after the crash that killed his son, Vlodomir "Vova" Vlasyuk.
Vova, 16, was riding in the back seat of a 2009 Infinity G37, when the driver lost control while trying to navigate around another vehicle, left the roadway, struck a house and overturned around 9:30 p.m., Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Vova was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

South Jersey Motorcyclist Dies In Crash With Mail Truck
A 34-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash with a USPS mail truck Saturday in South Jersey, police said.
Michael P. Giannetta Jr., of Galloway, was heading westbound on W. White Horse Pike on a 2019 Suzuki GSX when he struck the driver's side of a mail truck at the intersection of Upas Avenue entering the intersection around 2:50 p.m., Galloway Township police said.
Giannetta was ejected from the bike and taken to ARMC City Division, where he died, authorities said.
