A woman was rescued from a creek after she fled from a special-needs group home in Oceanport on Thursday, June 4, authorities said. A 76-year-old man was hospitalized after a tree fell on him on Wednesday, Aug. 27, authorities said. At 4:26 p.m., the man was operating a tractor in a wooded area at Hollow Road near Servis Road when a tree fell on him, pinning him to the tractor, Montgomery police said. The Montgomery police side-by-side utility vehicle was utilized to assist transporting rescue workers to the patient, and transport the patient out of the woods, law enforcement said.
