Authorities Try To ID Body Of Woman Pulled From Waters Off Bayonne An autopsy will help determine whether the death of a woman whose body was pulled from Newark Bay was suspicious. The body was recovered near Stephen R. Gregg Park in Bayonne around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, said Caitlin Mota of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities hadn't identified her as of late Wednesday afternoon. "No visible signs of trauma were observed," Mota said. City police called to the Hudson Street garage on Second Street on a report of an unresponsive woman shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday found found the body of Jazzlyn Teron, 34, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. “This appears to be an isolated incident,” Suarez, suggesting there was no wrongdoing on the part of anyone else. Jersey City Man Charged With Murder In Girlfriend's Death A Jersey City man is facing murder and weapons charges in the August killing of his 22-year-old girlfriend, authorities said. Jaishawn Gaston, 26, was arrested on Sept. 15 at the prosecutor's office in Jersey City, when he surrendered with his attorney, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Gaston is accused of killing Francis Villa, who was found unconscious with a gunshot wound in a Forrest Street apartment around 6 p.m. on Aug. 31, Suarez said.
