A former New Jersey resident has been sentenced to prison time in a golf cart crash that killed a bride and injured her groom on their wedding night in April 2023.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 26, a Hunterdon County native, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Monday, Dec. 2, after pleading guilty to reckless homicide, felony DUI causing death, and two counts of felony DUI causing great bodily injury in South Carolina.

NJ's Blake McGuire Dies At 27: 'Free Spirit'
Blake Kyle McGuire, of Bethlehem Township, died at his home on Friday, Nov. 17, his obituary says. He was 27 years old.
Born in Edison, Blake graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 2014 before attending Raritan Valley Community College.
He is being remembered as a “free spirit” with a passion for art and music, who loved to make others laugh with his one-of-a-kind sense of humor, his obit reads.
"I had Blake as a student and always enjoyed him," a former teacher wrote on Facebook. "He always made me smile."

Support is on the rise for a pregnant widow whose husband died in a tree-fall accident.
Cody Lee Blihar of Somerville died on Thursday, Jan. 26 at the age of 33, his obituary says.
Cody’s wife, Monica, is expecting their first son, Beau, according to a GoFundMe launched for the family’s support.
“Our hope is to alleviate the financial burden that Monica will be facing following Cody's death and the birth of their son,” reads the campaign.
