The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. in the local lanes northbound South of Exit 116 (PNC Arts Center) in Holmdel Township, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. Truck Flips On New Jersey Turnpike
A truck overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Middlesex County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 6 outside entry Interchange 11 (Garden State Parkway) in Woodbridge, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. The right shoulder was blocked, 511nj.org reported. New Jersey State Police said there were no injuries in the crash.

Tolls will increase on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway for a third consecutive year. The 3 percent toll hikes were originally approved in 2020. The latest hike was adopted on Tuesday, Oct. 25 as part of the 2023 budget, according to New Jersey Turnpike Authority spokesman Thomas Feeney. Since Sept. 20, nearly every vehicle in one particular lane had been classified as a truck at the Great Egg Harbor toll plaza in Somers Point, a spokesman for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority said. If you take Route 36 to the Garden Stae Parkway southbound, you're in for some detours during the next eight months. That's the word from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which is continuing a $17 million bridge rehabilitation project in Tinton Falls. The project consists of four work areas. The Atlantic Service Area on the Garden State Parkway in Galloway has been renamed in honor of Frank Sinatra, a native of Hoboken, according to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. Two ramps of the Garden State Parkway, at Exit 105, will close in April for nine months of upgrades, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority announced. Lawnmower Rolls On Top Of Worker Cutting Grass On Garden State Parkway In Burlington County
A worker cutting grass along the Garden State Parkway was flown to the hospital after a lawnmower rolled down an embankment and landed on top of him in Burlington County Monday morning, authorities said. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority worker lost control of the commercial-grade lawnmower he was riding near milepost 55.9 around 8:40 a.m. in Bass River, State Police said. He was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s City Campus in Atlantic City, a NJSP spokesperson said. The incident remains under investigation.

Toll prices on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway will increase dramatically beginning Sept. 13.
