Massive Fire At Branchburg Housing Complex
A large fire consumed the Red Rock Preserve housing complex early Wednesday morning, March 18, authorities said. The multi-alarm fire began at 5:45 a.m., according to ABC 7, quickly burning through multiple townhouses on the complex at Old York Road. Firefighters from all four Jackson Fire Companies battled a large structure fire for nearly four hours on Saturday, Feb. 1, requiring backup from multiple neighboring departments, Fire Company No. 2 said. Two people were hospitalized after their Asbury Park home caught fire two days before Christmas, officials said. : Mahwah Firefighters Rush From Rockland Brush Blaze To Local House Fire
Mahwah firefighters were helping their colleagues from Hillburn, Sloatsburg and Tallan douse a brush fire in a remote wooded area of Rockland on Sunday when a house fire broke out nearby in town. The fire, which originated in the kitchen, was quickly knocked down, although it did cause some damage. An Elmwood Park multi-family home went up in flames Saturday night. Responders were met by flames and heavy smoke at the Fournier Crescent home just after 8:30 p.m. Hoarding conditions contributed to the extent of the two-alarm fire, which quickly spread to the attic, they said.
