Motorcyclist Killed In Howell Crash With Dump Truck
A motorcyclist was killed in a Howell crash involving a dump truck Saturday. Th crash occurred on Herbertsville Road (County Route 459) just before 12:25 p.m. The motorcyclist was struck by the dump truck when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right and instead drove into oncoming traffic. New Jersey State Police have identified the motorcyclist killed on Tuesday in a collision with a dump truck in Burlington County. The crash occurred about 1 p.m. on Route 72 west at milepost 2.8 near Anna Street in Woodland Township. Jeffrey E. Dominic “Dom” Belcastro was riding a Harley-Davidson and had the right of way while heading eastbound on Route 22, according to Warren County Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer, who witnessed the crash, NJ.com reports. A 59-year-old man from Point Pleasant was killed when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle, authorities said Christos Michael, 59, suffered internal injuries and injuries to his lower body after he was thrown from his motorcycle during a crash on Burnt Tavern Road, Brick police said. Authorities ID South Jersey Motorcyclist, 54, Killed In Route 70 Crash
Authorities have identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision on Route 70 in Camden County. Richard Sims, 54, of Cherry Hill, collided with a Chrysler PT Cruiser about 4 p.m. on Thursday and was ejected, police said. Sims was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. The fatal came occurred in the eastbound lanes of state Route 70 near South Harvard Avenue in Cherry Hill, according to initial reports.

A 31-year-old father from Atlantic County was killed when his motorcycle collided head-on with a car in Galloway Township, authorities said. Darryl Crowder, a construction worker from Hammonton, was driving east on the White Horse Pike at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday when a motorist driving west struck the motorcycle as she tried to turn left onto South Cologne Avenue, Galloway police said. Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Garden State Parkway Crash Near Jersey Shore
A motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries in a crash on the Garden State Parkway over the weekend in Monmouth County. The Harley Davidson bike ran off the left side of the the express lanes on the southbound side of the highway around 1 a.m. Sunday, in Aberdeen, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The driver was ejected near milepost 119.7 and was taken to an area hospital with unknown but serious injuries, Peele said. The crash was under investigation Monday.

Union County Police Officer Injured Escorting Motorcyclists On 50-Mile Charity Ride
A Union County police sergeant was injured while escorting motorcyclists on a 50-mile charity ride for a local cancer foundation on Sunday, county officials said. The county officer collided with a participant in Clark during the Jason’s Friends Foundation ride, NJ.com reports, citing county spokesman Sebastian D'Elia. The crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. on Lake Avenue, at the Cellar Avenue intersection, according to initial reports. The officer and participant were treated at the hospital for non life-threatening injuries, D'Elia said.

PA Motorcyclist Ejected Over NJ Turnpike, Falls 25 Feet To His Death
Police have identified the motorcyclist who died after being ejected off of an elevated roadway on the NJ Turnpike and fell nearly 25 feet to his death. Jay Sills of Allentown, PA was headed eastbound near the Holland Tunnel approach on a Suzuki motorcycle when he struck a concrete barrier at milepost 7.9 around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, State Police Trooper Philip Curry said. Sills, 43, was ejected from his motorcycle and fell over the highway onto a dirt lot below, located near 14th and Monmouth Street, local and state police said. Sills was pronounced dead at the scene.

A motorcyclist killed in a Jackson Township crash Saturday was an off-duty Lakewood police officer, authorities confirmed. Nicklas Shimonovich, 23 -- whose parents are both longtime members of the Lakewood Police Department -- died in a crash on Thompson Bridge Road sometime before 5 p.m., his department announced late Saturday night. Motorcyclist Killed In Crash ID'd As Former Wall Township EMT
Authorities have identified the 26-year-old motorcyclist who died in a Wall Township crash. Kenneth B. Sosnowski, of Lavallette, lost control of the bike while on the ramp from Route 138 east to Route 35 north, Tuesday night, Wall police said. Sosnowski crashed around 10 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. According to his LinkedIn page, Sosnowski was a squad member of Wall's first aid squad from 2014 to 2018. Central Jersey Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Old Bridge Collision
A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Monmouth County died after his motorcycle struck a car at Route 18 and Ferry Road in Old Bridge late Wednesday, authorities said. Police identified the victim as John Flanagan of Aberdeen. At about 11 p.m. Wednesday, a black Yamaha motorcycle driven by Flanagan was traveling northbound on Route 18 when he failed to stop for a red traffic light at Ferry Road, Old Bridge police said in a statement.
