Threat Against 'Specific Individuals' Closes South Jersey School District A Gloucester County school district was closed Friday, June 3 after a threat was made against the high school, officials said. Classes in the six-school Monroe Township Public Schools were canceled with police present at Williamstown High School. In an announcement to the school district, Superintendent of Schools Susan B. These Central Jersey Schools Had Early Dismissals While snow won't effect many New Jersey schoolchildren learning remotely, others could have a day off. Update: Monroe Township Public Schools was the first in the region to announce a snow day and no classes on Thursday due to the heavy snowfall.
