Jersey Shore Man Killed In Weekend Shooting: Prosecutor A 39-year-old man from Monmouth County was killed in his vehicle this weekend, authorities said. The victim was identified as Marques Mills of Neptune Township, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Neptune police responded to the shooting shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. Authorities ID Central Jersey Shooting Victim Authorities have identified the 24-year-old victim of last week's fatal shooting in Asbury Park. Shooting Reported In Central Jersey There was a shooting reported overnight in Monmouth County,  authorities said. Neptune police were called to the 300 block of Fisher Avenue about 1:30 a.m. on a report of shots fired, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
