Drunk South Jersey Woman Found With Heroin, Gun In Suburban Philly, Police Say A New Jersey woman was arrested after police say they found her with drugs and a gun after stopping her for public intoxication in the Philadelphia suburbs. Officers on drug surveillance stopped Colleen L. Brooks, 32, of Mantua, in the 1400 block of Chester Pike in Sharon Hill when they noticed she appeared drunk on Tuesday, Aug. 16, they said. During her arrest, cops looked through her backpack and found suspected heroin, drug packaging, and a handgun, police said. South Jersey Man Struck By 2 Cars Dies A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed when he tried to cross a busy five-lane highway in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred on Friday at 8:29 p.m, in the 700 block of Mullica Hill Road (Route 322), according to Harrison Township police.  John M. Johnston of Paulsboro attempted to cross Mullica Hill Road where there are three eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes, Harrison police said.
