'Ultimate Ambassador:' Former Jersey Shore City Mayor Dies At 90 Former North Wildwood Mayor Aldo Palombo has died, the city in Cape May County announced. An obituary for Palombo said he died with his wife and family by his side on Saturday, Jan. 27. He was the 15th mayor of North Wildwood, serving the city from 1994 to 2005. The city said Palombo rescued North Wildwood during some difficult times. The 18-year-old is one of the state’s youngest to hold a BOE position. Wood ran alongside Jennifer "Lonsky" Grana and Kaitlin Gagnon. The trio incumbents Christina "Longo" Keiling and LeeAnne M. Eunice Dwumfour was found in a vehicle on Samuel Circle around 7:20 p.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Sayreville Police Chief Daniel Plumacker said.
