U.S. Marshals captured a fugitive in an attempted murder on Thursday in Atlantic City, authorities said.
Donald Rutter, 61, of Tuckerton was charged in the shooting on Jan. 6 and remained at large, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer has announced that Donald Rutter, 61, of Tuckerton, a fugitive.

Two South Jersey suspects were arrested in connection with a break-in at a clothing store in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Saturday, a man and woman were arrested after a police officer observed them burglarizing a store.
At 7:43 a.m., Officer Thomas Gilardi was patrolling the area of the Tanger Outlets-The Walk when he saw Amanda Reynolds, 28, of Little Egg Harbor, pacing back and forth near the Abercrombie & Fitch store, according to Atlantic City police.

Pair Nabbed In Stolen Car After Fleeing Atlantic City Police
A South Jersey pursuit of a stolen car led to the arrest of two fugitives with outstanding warrants, authorities said.
On Sunday at 9:07 p.m., Atlantic City Police Officer Joseph Kelly tried to stop a car that had been reported stolen.
After activating his emergency lights and siren, the driver, Jason Sandfort, sped away, police said.
Sandfort, 49, of Elwood, crashed into a parked car in the 100 north block of Florida Avenue, police said. He reportedly fled on foot but officers were able to catch him about a half=block away.

Prosecutor: Jersey Shore Trio's $30K Embezzlement From Lacey Veterans Group 'Truly Shameful'
Three former employees of a veterans organization in Ocean County stole at least $30,415 from the non-profit, authorities said.
Jesse Violante, 33, of Tuckerton, Mary Anne Dileo, 67, of Manahawkin, and Gary Mclain, 33, of Little Egg Harbor, were each charged with theft by unlawful taking on Thursday, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
