A 59-year-old Keasbey truck driver was killed in a crash between two tractor trailers on the New Jersey Turnpike in Linden on the early morning of Tuesday, March 11, authorities said. At 12:11 a.m., a Freightliner tractor trailer, driven by Jose Diaz, was going southbound on the Turnpike on the outer roadway, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. $50K Powerball Ticket Purchased At Central Jersey Convenience Store
A Powerball ticket sold in Monmouth County hit it big, earning its lucky owner $50,000, officials said. The ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball in the drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 4, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release. Police ID Porsche Driver, 41, Killed In NJ Crash
A 41-year-old North Brunswick man was killed when he crashed a Porsche in Linden the evening of Friday, June 14, authorities said. At 6:45 p.m., a Porsche Boxter driven by Justin Harmon lost control while traveling south on S. Park Avenue and veered into the northbound lane, Linden police said. The vehicle struck a utility pole and continued off the roadway before colliding with a parked cargo trailer, police said. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.

A 36-year-old Warren Township man who ran a fuel delivery trucking company was arrested and charged on Thursday, May 9, with insurance fraud, authorities said.
