Monroe Township Woman, 81, Killed As Passenger In Two-Vehicle Crash
A Monroe Township woman was killed in a crash in Freehold, authorities said. Gloria Tucker, 81, died in the crash on Thursday, Aug. 29, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said. Freehold Township police responded to the wreck on Wemrock Road near Route 33 Business at around 2:24 p.m. Investigators said Tucker was a passenger in the two-vehicle crash. She was survived by her husband, their two sons, and four grandchildren, according to her obituary from DeMarco Funeral Home. No charges or summonses have been issued as of Tuesday, Sept. 3. Police in one New Jersey beach town have released bodycam footage showing the arrest of a 28-year-old California surfer, which went viral on Facebook earlier this week. Belmar Police Chief Tina Scott released the 6-minute video of Liam Mahoney's arrest captured on Officer Braswell's body-worn camera on Tuesday, Aug. 20. New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital.
