Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Much Of NJ, PA: Here's The Timing
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania.
The watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 and applies to all of New Jersey.
In Pennsylvania, the watch covers Adams, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Wayne, Wyoming, and York in Pennsylvania.
Temps are expected to feel as hot as 100 or 105 degrees in much of the region, according to the NWS.

Pennsylvania Man Indicted For Jersey Shore Motel Shooting: Prosecutor
A 43-year-old man from Pennsylvania has been indicted for attempted murder at a Jersey Shore motel, where he allegedly shot a man in the head, authorities said.
Jose Serrano-Robles, of Lebanon, PA, also was indicted on Thursday, March 24 for weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The indictment was in connection with a shooting on Aug. 16, 2021, in Seaside Heights, Billhimer said.

Taking Liberties: Burglars Ate, Drank, Showered While Englewood Child, Sitter Were Home
A babysitter was alone with a young child when a Pennsylvania couple broke into an Englewood home, helped themselves to food, drink – even a shower – and fled in the victims’ SUV, authorities said. They may have even had sex there, too.
The babysitter eventually discovered the pair, who fled in the homeowner’s Lincoln Navigator with jewelry, a wallet, clothing and a backpack -- while leaving the clunker they drove up in behind, they said.
They also took the one item that authorities said would lead police directly to them: an iPhone.
