On Monday at 9:51 a.m., police were called to the Lukoil gas station at 2301 West County Line Road in Jackson for a reported carjacking.  Police found a 57-year-old woman who said her 1999 Dodge Pickup had been stolen by a man  who had punched her in the face, Jackson police said. Police: Toms River Man Head-Butted, Spit Blood At Officers After Flooding Jail Cell A 28-year-old man from Toms River facing multiple charges after assaulting police officers at Jackson Township police headquarters and an area hospital, authorities said.  The mayhem began on Wednesday when Ralph Lezin is accused of repeatedly calling and then puncturing the tires of an ex-girlfriends tires at Pineview Apartments on West County Line Road, police said.  Lezin reportedly became extremely uncooperative and combative with officers attempting to process him on the arrest, they said.  He kicked at, and activated an emergency button in the processing area…

Authorities ID Teen Killed In One-Car Jackson Crash A teenage driver died after losing control of his car and striking several trees near a golf course in Jackson, authorities said. Jackson police identified the motorist killed in the Friday night crash as Austen Hunter, 19, of Jackson. A passenger, Hasson Renouf, 23, of Jackson, was listed in stable condition, police said. The accident was reported at 10:30 p.m. when police officers from the Jackson and Manchester police departments responded to a 911 call about a crash on South Hope Chapel Road.
