Driver Seriously Hurt In Crash That Closed I-195 On Jersey Shore A 30-year-old driver from Wall Township was seriously hurt in a crash that closed interstate 195, authorities said. Kyle P. Luciano was ejected in the multiple-car collision and had to be hospitalized, according to New Jersey State Police. I-195 was closed in both directions for several hours as a result of the crash. Troopers responded to the crash at 4:30 p.m. on I-195 west near milepost 28.8 in Howell Township, police said. Tractor-Trailer Flips, Concrete Slab Closes I-195 Ramp A tractor-trailer overturned and dumped a large concrete slab onto Interstate 195 during the morning rush hour, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:14 a.m. Tuesda-Feb. 14 on I-195 eastbound exit 28B to Roiute 9 in Howell Township, according to Sgt. Philip Curry, a New Jersey State Police spokesman. The driver was not injured., Curry said. The exit ramp remained closed at noon and would remain closed until the concrete slab can be lifted back onto the trailer, Curry said.
