Central Jersey Man Gets 10 Years State Prison For Realty Office Arson Fires
A 32-year-old man from Central Jersey has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison for setting fires that destroyed a realty company's offices, authorities said. The suspect also fired a weapon into one of the realtor's buildings, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey. Leonard J. Mazzarisi, III, 32, formerly of Burgundy Drive in Holmdel, was sentenced on Friday by Superior Court Judge Lourdes Lucas to five years for aggravated arson and an additional five years with 42 months without parole for possession of a weapon For an unlawful purpose, Linskey said. Howell Man Accused Of Saving Child Porn Images Gets 5 Years At Central Jersey Treatment Center
A Howell Township man convicted twice of possessing child pornography has been sentenced to a term of five years at a Monmouth County treatment center. Thomas Vilanova, 50, of Howell also was sentenced to parole supervision for life under terms set down Wednesday by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Lourdes Lucas. Jersey Shore Teen Reported Missing
A teen from Central Jersey was reported missing Thursday night. Paris Laster, 16, was last seen leaving her home in Holmdel without her parents’ permission on Wednesday, township police said. Laster is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 100 pounds and has dark hair, police said. A Jersey Shore man was arrested for setting off molotov cocktails in a local Route 35 parking lot three nights last week, authorities said. Brendan J. School Bus Collides With SUV In Monmouth County
First responders were called to a report of a school bus crash in Central Jersey, authorities said. Shortly before 1 p.m., a bus loaded with children reportedly collided with an SUV, according to initial reports. The crash occurred on Bethany Road, by the railroad tracks, in Holmdel, reports said.
