A wildfire spanning 500 acres is burning unchecked in a remote section of Peaslee Wildlife Management Area in Vineland, officials said. Two men were rescued after they were stuck at the end of a jetty in Ocean County, officials said. The men were found at the end of the south jetty at Barnegat Light State Park on Sunday, Aug. 18, Barnegat Light Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 said in a Facebook post.
