Timothy Puskas Exonerated In Billy McCaw Murder Timothy Puskas is a free man. The one-time convicted killer was released on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from MIddlesex County Jail, after winning a second trial on a murder charge, according to his attorney, Joseph Mazraani. Puskas was convicted seven years ago in the slaying of 22-year-old college student William “Billy” McCaw in New Brunswick. He'd been incarcerated for 10 years. Multiple Armed Robberies Investigated At Rutgers University: Police Three separate robberies are under investigation at the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick, authorities said. According to a statement released by Rutgers Police Chief Kenneth Cop, the first incident occurred on Thursday, March 3, at approximately 1:04 a.m. on Hartwell Street near Hamilton Street. Cop said in this incident, the victims, who are affiliated with Rutgers University, reported that they were approached by four male perpetrators who brandished a single handgun and removed items of value.
