Motorist Hospitalized After Garden State Parkway Crash
A motorist was hospitalized after a crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. New Jersey State Police were called at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, April 25 to milepost 74.8 in Lacey Township on a report of an overturned vehicle. A preliminary investigation found that the driver was traveling south on the Parkway, lost control of the vehicle and ran off the highway to the right, down an embankment and overturned, State Police said. The driver was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

Body Recovered After Man Jumps Into Bay Off Garden State Parkway:

A man's body was recovered after he jumped near the Driscoll Bridge in Woodbridge, authorities said. The incident occurred at 12:32 p.m. on Thursday, April 20.on the Garden State Parkway southbound at milepost 127.7 in Woodbridge, according to New Jersey State Police. Preliminary investigation revealed that an individual jumped from the roadway into the water below, State Police said. The individual was recovered from the water and transported to Raritan Bay Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. There are no additional details available at this time.&…

Occupant Ejected In Garden State Parkway Rollover
A victim was in traumatic arrest after being ejected in a rollover evening rush-hour crash at the northern end of the Garden State Parkway, responders said. New Jersey State Police summoned a medical chopper following the crash on the southbound parkway at mile marker 166.8 Pascack Valley Toll Plaza in Washington Township shortly after 5 p.m. Given the severity of the injuries, they opted to have the unconscious, unresponsive victim taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center. Van Flips On Garden State Parkway
A van overturned on its side on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 at the toll plaza northbound entrance ramp at Exit 89A (Route 70 East) in Lakewood Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The driver was not injured and refused medical attention, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry. One lane was blocked, 511nj.org reported.

A law enforcement officer fired a shot and an NJ TRANSIT bus was involved in a crash during a pursuit in East Orange on Sunday, responders said. An SUV apparently was being pursued when it crashed and its three occupants bailed out at the intersection of Springdale and Arlington avenues near the Garden State Parkway overpass around noon on March 26. Jersey Shore Woman, 49, Dies In Garden State Parkway Crash
A 49-year-old woman died in a crash on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, March 7, authorities said. Rebecca Goodwin was heading north in a Chevrolet Trailblazer when she struck the left guardrail, ran off the road and down an embankment, overturned and struck multiple trees around 1:05 p.m. in Ocean Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Goodwin died as a result of the crash. The left lane of the GSP northbound was closed for approximately four hours resulting in moderate traffic congestion. Teens Sentenced In Arson Fire Along Garden State Parkway: Prosecutor
Two juveniles from Brick Township have been sentenced in connection with an arson fire along the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. Both I.J. and A.R. were sentenced to 60 days in the Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center as a condition of three years probation.
