Driver Killed In Central Jersey Crash, State Police Say One person was killed in a crash in Monmouth County, authorities said. A driver died in the crash in Howell Township on Tuesday, July 9, according to state police data. The wreck happened on Fort Plains Road at around 4:53 p.m. Howell police said the crash was between Bergerville Road and Arrowwood Court in the Wyckoff Mills section of the township. The roads reopened by 8:30 p.m. Chief John Storrow said the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Serious Collision and Response Team is investigating the crash. Howell Police Arrest Pair Of Suspected Valentine's Day Bandits A Howell Township couple who, police say, spent their Valentine's Day evening ransacking cars in the Toscana neighborhood has been arrested. One of the alleged partners in crime turned herself in Tuesday. Police said they tracked down the male suspect on Friday. On the night of Feb. 14 and early morning of Feb. 15, several vehicles were entered and valuables were stolen off of Fort Plains Road.
