The Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability (OPIA) released three 911 calls and body-worn camera footage from a fatal police-involved shooting in Pemberton Township last October. The civilian who died during the Oct. 19, 2024 encounter was identified as Marvin Taylor, 57, of Browns Mills, the office said. A 12-year-old boy was killed after a tree holding up a backyard zipline snapped and fell on him in Pennsylvania, authorities said. Emergency crews were called to a home on the 1400 block of Chadwyck Lane in East Hempfield Township around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, for a medical emergency involving a child, according to East Hempfield Township police. The collision happened around 4:40 a.m. at the intersection of Route 1 and Woodbridge Center Drive, prompting a multi-agency response that included police, first aid, fire, and hazmat teams, according to Woodbridge Police Lt. A man was injured by what appeared to be a ray's tail at a beach in Ventnor City, officials said. The man suffered a hand injury at around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, the Ventnor City Beach Patrol said. He received first-aid treatment at the scene.
