Three people, a husband and wife and their son are charged with murdering a Deptford man whose body remains missing, authorities announced Thursday, Sept. 11.
On Saturday, June 14, Harold Miller, a Deptford man was reported missing after he was playing cards with friends on Thursday, June 12, County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said.. A night of celebration turned into tragedy overnight when gunfire erupted inside a crowded New York City restaurant, leaving 11 people shot, with three of those dead.
The shooting broke out just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in Brooklyn, at Taste of the City Lounge on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, according to authorities.

A Facebook Marketplace meeting to buy a BMW in Maryland ended in gunfire threats and a crash after three men allegedly robbed the seller at gunpoint and tried to get away in a stolen Infiniti, police said.
When the men arrived, 18-year-old Julian Chase Rose, of Beltsville, and 19-year-old Prince Chukang, of Silver Spring, “displayed a handgun and demanded the keys to the BMW,” according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.

John P. Menendez has been sentenced to 50 years in state prison for the killings of Anna Shpilberg and Luiza Shinkarevskaya, both 40, with his service weapon in Newark in February 2021, NJ Advance Media reports.

A man was arrested after firing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in Ocean County, police said.
Paul R. Cacciola, 39, of Bayville, allegedly got out of his car, pulled out a gun and shot at the victim's vehicle, causing damage before fleeing the scene around 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, according to Lacey Township Police Capt. Paul Sullivan.
