State Capital Reports 9 People Shot There were at least nine people shot over the weekend in Trenton, authorities said. None of the shootings was fatal, according to a spokeswoman for the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.  On Sunday night, four people were wounded by gunfire at the intersection of Stuyvesant and Hoffman avenues. Three people were injured in shootings at the same spot on Friday night, police said.  Another Sunday shooting hurt two people at Faircrest and Coolidge avenues, according to initial reports.  The city of Trenton has suffered 37 homicides this year, most of them involving shootings. …
