A road worker was struck along Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at about 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 on I-295 north milepost 76.4 in Ewing Township. Based on a preliminary investigation, a collision occurred between a Hyundai and a Freightliner box truck subsequently causing the Hyundai to strike a pedestrian road worker, according to New Jersey State Police. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Weekend Crash In Mercer County
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision in Ewing Township. Theodore Condo, 57, of Ewing died in the crash on Saturday, Nov. 25, authorities said. At 4:54 p.m., Ewing police responded to a serious crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Parkway Avenue and Walter Street in Ewing. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No names had been released by police. Boston Market stores across New Jersey owe its workers thousands of dollars in back wages, and the state's labor department is taking action. The NJDOL issued 27 stop-work orders to Boston Market locations throughout the state on Monday, Aug. 14 saying the rotisserie chicken franchise owes more than $600,000 in back wages to 314 employees. The investigation began after the NJDOL received a complaint from an employee at a restaurant in Hamilton last November. Legionnaires’ Disease has been detected in the Trenton Water Works water supply, state authorities said. Seven people contracted the disease and two people have died since October 2022 in Mercer County, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. The seven newest cases occurred in Trenton, Ewing Township, Lawrence Township, and Hamilton Township, the state said. The 43-year-old gunman who killed three students and wounded five at Michigan State University before turning the gun on himself Monday, Feb. 13 appears to have New Jersey ties. The shooter was identified by MSU Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman as Anthony McRae. According to a report by the New York Post and her obituary, McRae's late mother was born and lived in Trenton.
